A chance to come together with family, friends and neighbours and celebrate our beautiful island and community. Be welcomed with a whakatau and pōwhiri from our Mana Whenua from Ngāti Pāoa, and discover a wonderful walking trail that all the family can enjoy.
This walk is free for everyone and does not count toward your available walk spots.
9.00am Everyone arrive, chat and free tea and coffee for all
9.30am – 10.00am Whakatau/pōwhiri followed by brief welcome by Waiheke Walking Trust and Local Board Chair Cath Handley
10am – 11am Waiheke Community Walk
