Overview
A unique opportunity for a stunning hike through private land and the site of the proposed kiwi release, traversing pristine bush, wetlands, and coastal farmland.

With the kind permission of property owners Kirstie and Hinrich, the walk will be guided by Save The Kiwi trustee – Lady Jennie Fenwick. Te Korowai o Waiheke will also be there to answer any questions about the stoat trapping efforts on the island, that have made the introduction of kiwi a possibility.

The walk is graded 6 out of 10, which means that the route can include unformed tracks, possibly narrow or muddy stretches and steep sections. Please choose walks that you are comfortable with, and if booking for others, check with them too. Thanks

The price includes a $25 premium walk fee (plus booking fee).  An optional two-way shuttle for $40 is available – please book tickets below if required.
