The Waiheke Walking Festival relies on grants and sponsorship to make it happen each year, yet we still run at a loss.

The Friends membership fee is $115, to help improve the long term financial stability of the Festival. We limit the number to 100, so we can offer some benefits. As a thank you, we give you 10 walking spots (only 6 for the general public).

And – Friends receive the opportunity to book early. Bookings for the general public go live on 29 September. Friends can book in mid-September. This gives you a great opportunity to book the walks you want. (We still cannot guarantee you a spot, but it’s very likely).
