This walk will have you viewing land and sea from spots very few have been, including the local boaties marker – Thumb Point. Bring your togs and an easy picnic for some mid-walk play time, and finish the walk with a late lunch at Man O’War Vineyard Tasting Room.
Optional late lunch at Man O’War for $35pp including a glass of rose.
Optional return charter bus available for $25pp.
You must pre-book these options.
Please note: the charter bus booking includes drop-off at the start of the walk, transfer to Man O’War Tasting Room post walk, and departs from Man O’War after lunch. You can book the bus without the lunch, but the bus does not depart Man O’War until after lunch.

This late lunch offering of a shared platter (3 x cheeses, 3 x meats, bread, crackers and pickles) for $35pp includes a glass of Pinque Rose at the picturesque Man O'War Vineyard Tasting Room at Man O'War Bay.
Two-way charter bus from Matiatia to Stony Batter via Oneroa, Surdale, Ostend and Onetangi for walk start. When the walk ends at Stony Batter at approx. 14:00, the bus will then take you to Man O'War for an optional late lunch or BYO picnic on the shore. The bus will depart Man O'War at 15:30 via the usual stops back to Matiatia. Please be aware that even if you haven't booked the optional lunch at Man O'War, there will be 1hr15mins of time to enjoy the shores of Man O'War Bay or purchase a glass of wine at Man O'War Tasting Room. Please note you must pre-purchase the Man O'War Late Lunch in advance.
